Physical Editions of Ziggurat’s Rendering Ranger: R² to be released for PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch by Limited Run Games

APEX, North Carolina - Since its release in 1995 by Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Rendering Ranger: R² has become a rare, highly sought-after item for many gamers’ collections. Limited Run Games is excited to release brand new physical editions of the game for preorder from February 14 to March 16, 2025. Ziggurat Interactive will release the game digitally as Rendering Ranger: R² [Rewind] on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4|5, and Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025.

The original Rendering Ranger: R², first developed by Rainbow Arts and esteemed creator Manfred Trenz, is celebrated for its technical accomplishments and distinctive visual aesthetic. The game pushed the boundaries of the Super Famicom's capabilities, utilizing pre-rendered graphics that were pioneering for its time.
