English Dub Debut as Earnest Evans Collection Comes to PlayStation®, Nintendo® Switch™ and PC Today!
Apex, North Carolina - January 16th, 2026 - Limited Run Games, a premium publisher of physical games, announced today the launch of Earnest Evans Collection on PlayStation® 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo® Switch™ and Steam, as well as their upcoming standard and collector’s physical editions available to pre-order from 23 January!
Earnest Evans, the titular game of the series, was originally released 35 years ago for the Sega® Mega-CD in Japan and Sega Genesis™ in North America, and now Limited Run Games is bringing this much-loved cult title to modern consoles, complete with some exciting additions for a modern gaming audience. For the first time ever, Earnest Evans Collection includes a brand new English dub for both Earnest Evans and its sequel Annet Returns.
Scouring the world for the lost grimoire, The Necronomicon, to thwart none other than Al Capone’s evil plans, players will take on this 2D side-scroller with the peace of mind of being able to rewind gameplay and save their progress anywhere they like. Long-standing fans of the games will delight in the Mega-CD release cutscenes, which can be viewed in the museum option of the game, and fans of the iconic soundtrack can enjoy the 90’s Mixed Mode CD soundtrack on the included music player too.
In addition to Earnest Evans Collection being available right now digitally on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Steam, Limited Run Games is also delighted to announce a standard and collector’s edition, both of which will be available to pre-order from 23 January through to 22 February.
